Pinoy Idol Auditions Start January 17

The popular reality talent search hits mainstream Philippine TV as GMA Network’s much anticipated and much-talked about Pinoy Idol kicks off with its first leg of auditions this month.
In search of talented young Pinoys aged 16 to 28 who dream of a flourishing singing career with the country’s best music gurus, Pinoy Idol begins its nationwide auditions this Thursday, January 17, in SM Cagayan de Oro.
Manila auditions will be in SMX near SM Mall of Asia. (see Directions to SMX)
Pinoy Idol hopefuls are required to bring a full body photo and proof of age (birth certificate, etc). Applicants who are 16 to 17 years old must bring a signed parental consent (stating that they have their parents’ permission to join the contest). Everybody is required to dress to impress and to come with the confidence and determination to show why they should be the country’s Pinoy Idol.

I know that its exciting for GMA to be awarded the Idol franchise. I just wish they come up with a website for the competition soon. I remember last year before the auditions, ABC already had a website although abc did not do so well, i give them credit for that.
I hope that GMA will publish soon so people will know what they need and it will validate their commitment to the program. Last year also during the auditions, I observed that the hopefuls were treated as if they were going to be stars and so the people behind the competition were all very courteous to the hopefuls . I will post if the hopefuls this year will get the same reception.

I will try my luck there in Manila with the requirements needed buti na lang at hanggang 28 dahil 25 na ko, hehehehe, I will be there on SM MALL OF ASIA, hope the luck will be with me, see yah der
