Let’s take a look at some blind hopefuls in Iloilo.
Annie Rose Britania brought Jolina to tears. Ogie gave a yes but Jolina and Wynard said it was a “no”.
Katchry Jewel S. Golbin of Tapaz, Capiz moved the judges that she got all their votes.
More talents showed up in Cebu such as
Hannah Joy Wenceslao from Leyte.
Frances Villanueva with her Caribbean-Bohemian look
Madriza, the single mom working in a call center looks like a Pinoy Idol potential but her problem was she overdid her singing towards the end.
I wonder why singers like Carmela Alonsabe made it. The “birit” style is just not original singing style. I still feel that not a lot of good singers were featured in this episode.

i was totally wowed by jewel golbin. she is such a gift.
ulol c jolina ndi marunong mg judge.bias at na guilty sya s pangalawang bulag,buti na lang at ndi pmayag c gabo n maging leading man nya shes so stupid and cheap.
jolina’s a boring a judge. not an inch compared to paula. her vocabulary is so poor, she can only say, “it’s a yes!” or “it’s a no!”. no comments whatsoever nor an explanation. hey! i forgot. she said to a couple of wannabes, to rephrased; “my vote is based only on the criteria of the pinoy idol nothing more nothing less”. sigh! for an hour show that’s the only thing she can utter. anyway, just my own opinion.
I think the editing this time around was better. It did show more talents and cut out the long backgrounds of some of the contestants. It was very well put together considering its all in a span of 45 mins.
I hope to see the Dagupan tryouts this coming saturday. Its getting close to the manila rounds which will be so overwhelming for many aspirants.
All I can say is sit back and enjoy the moment guys. Good luck to all.

Well what ever it is, basta jolina is my idol since nasa Ang TV pa sya. Go Jolina!
Much better episode than the first one! Just a bit disappointed with Jolina’s comment for the blind hopeful from Bacolod. IMO, it smacked of discrimination, which was exactly what the girl’s lament on other contests was. Jolina should’ve thought first about her comment before vocalizing it.
I also liked the fact that they started to show the reactions of frustrated hopefuls. That brings out the drama and fun usually associated with Idol auditions.

@Edgar: hanggang ngayon wala pang official site ang pinoy idol. ewan ko din kung bakit. so right now ang meron lang are blogs like this blog and our blog, Idolflux.com Kaloka.
Jolina…WTF? Pardon my French but I think we’re talking about talent here. What’s the difference between Annie Rose Britania and Jewel? Nothing. They’re both gifted. Don’t think you can redeem yourself by saying “yes” to one of them without getting the other. I think this is one bad judgment you will think of for a very long time…
