Auditions Schedule for First Pinoy Idol
Here are the schedules for the First Pinoy Idol auditions:
January 17 - Cagayan de Oro at SM Entertainment Centre
January 24 - Batangas City at SM Entertainment Centre
January 31 - Iloilo at SM Entertainment Centre
February 7- Cebu at SM Entertainment Centre
February 14- Davao at SM Entertainment Centre
February 21- Mega Manila at SMX SM Mall of Asia (see Directions to SMX)
Februray 28- Dagupan, stadia
March 6- Clark, SM Entertainment Centre
Most likely the first episode will be shown sometime March.

In search of talented young Pinoys aged 16 to 28 who dream of a flourishing singing career with the country’s best music gurus, Pinoy Idol begins its nationwide auditions this Thursday, January 17, in SM Cagayan de Oro.
Pinoy Idol hopefuls are required to bring a full body photo and proof of age (birth certificate, etc). Applicants who are 16 to 17 years old must bring a signed parental consent (stating that they have their parents’ permission to join the contest). Everybody is required to dress to impress and to come with the confidence and determination to show why they should be the country’s Pinoy Idol.

What to bring:
1. Age bracket is 16 to 28 years old,
2. for those 16-17 years old, bring parental consent (simple lang, na sila ay pinapayagang sumali sa Pinoy Idol),
3. bring proof of age (birth certificiate, etc),
4. full body photo.

alam niyo kase, walana pong requirements.. just bring yourself to the audition venue.. the american idol way
According to the latest GMA commercial on Pinoy Idol, the age bracket would be 17-28 years old. This is very limiting. American Idol allows 32 or 33 years old. X Factor, another popular reality singing contest abroad allows even as old as 36. In fact, its 2004 winner was a 36-old jazz/soul singer. We have so many good talents that are now in their 30’s and yet look very young and fresh. GMA has to do some rethinking.

wala kailangan din sumali ang 16 years old kc sa American Idol kinuha nila ang mga taong with ages 16 pataas cguro hnggang 28 lng tlga…watch for me guys….

dpat maaga p lng pumila n kyo.most probably 8am ska dpat nkregster n kyo online. Based on my experience s smx, d n ko nkapagaudition kc late n ako. I went there Saturday na pero final selection n pla ng idol. Thursdy and Friday ang pagpili nila den sala sila s saturday. Yung pinabalik lng s Friday is ung mga nakapgonline regster. Hope this helps…
